How to Meet and Beat the CPA Pass Rate Worldwide

November 30, 2010 | Author: | Posted in Business for Sale

Recent results of the Uniform CPA Exam indicate that although there was a slight increase in the pass rates of each section of the CPA Exam, it is still considerably low.

On the average, CPA Passing Rate Worldwide is only less than fifty percent, which means that out of all the thousands of applicants who take the exams every year, only a handful were able to barely make it; and this is not even the overall results of first-time exam-takers.

What does this CPA Passing Rate Worldwide indicate? Other than the exams being a bit more difficult than expected, it clearly shows that reviewing for the CPA Exam shouldn’t be taken lightly.

MAKING THE CUT

While this average CPA Passing Rate Worldwide may seem just a tad scary, it should provide as a strong motivating factor for CPA candidates to strive to make the cut, and perhaps even help beat the pass rate worldwide and increase its percentage.

This means that we need to prepare for the exams as thoroughly and comprehensively as possible, without delay. Fresh graduates are encouraged to take the CPA Exams as soon as possible because during this time, all the lessons taken are still fresh in our minds and what we can do is to take each lesson apart and study more profusely; taking into consideration all the possible scenarios that might come-up during the exams.

Those who delayed taking the exams may not only need to study comprehensively for each part of the exams but also to take a refresher course on the college courses that we took which will also be covered within the exams. This means, double the study efforts and double the time to study.

TAKE EACH TEST SEPARATELY

When before, CPA candidates were required to sit for exams for long hours in order to complete all the four parts contained in the CPA Exam, today, this is not a requirements anymore; thanks, to the tests being computerized.

While it is understandable that we would want to get all the tests out of the way and so, we may be in a hurry to complete all of them all at once; this may not be the best thing to do in order for us to meet the CPA Passing Rate Worldwide.

We should instead take advantage of the two-month window given each year, four times a year; to review and take the tests separately. We may even consider taking the easy tests first – whichever those are for us – and then take the hard ones last to give us more time to study for these; or reverse the order.

The important thing to remember here is that, for us to be able to make it to the percentage of the CPA Passing Rate Worldwide, we must also take advantage of opportunities that will make taking the exams a little bit easier for us.

These opportunities to meet the CPA Passing Rate Worldwide may include taking the exams early on after graduation; the numerous CPA Review courses available to us, which can now be done online so it’s all the more convenient; and lastly, spreading-out our test schedules within a specific testing window to give us enough time to study for each part and also to de-stress after each test.
