Should I buy iPad 16gb or a windows 7 laptop?
Well if I got an ipad I would jailbreak it and I was
wondering would it be much of a stepup from my iPod touch. And can it do the things a laptop can do. I am not a noob, I know perfectly well about both these devices I am just after opinions!!! I have around $600AU and the laptop is 250gb 2gb ram windows 7. Thnx I’m advance,

And yet you are asking us if it can do the things a laptop can do?
I’d say you don’t know much at all then.
Here are some things to consider:
Still no Flash on Apple devices.
Even after you Jailbreak – it’s still an iPad, so not really as flexible as a PC
You can sort of Multi-task on an iPad, but not really
You can’t plug your camera into an iPad to download photos and use them
No USB ports at all for that matter
No SD card slot
No camera

One speaker – in the bottom. Just like the iPhone – usless for music and video that should be stereo
No ROM drive – but I guess for $600AU you probably will only get a Netbook, which won’t have one either
And I’m sure there will be more as people get to use them and report about what they feel it is lacking.
Before you buy one you might wanna consider a easy painless raffle there is a raffle going on for a free iPad, only the Wi-Fi version though.
